Don't feel bad, it took me forever to finish my copy too since I was busy when I got it as a present. I'd be more worried people might spoil the ending in the comments, I nearly did, but I reconsidered because I had no way of knowing if you'd finished or not.
Hehe, thanks for your consideration! ^^ I can't wait to be able to finish it and find out the ending! ;_; Since it's the internet, I couldn't avoid all spoilers, but the only one I know is what Ravio's true form looks like, and nothing past that. ^^ I've managed to avoid specific spoilers, so it is still fun to speculate the mystery of Ravio's backstory. :)
I have. :3 Ravio turned out to be one of, if not, my favorite character in the entire game. C: I got it the day it came out because I had nothing to do for a few days and being a Zelda lover, I decided to give it a try. Lorule is an amazing place. I think you'll really love the game.
Nice! Even so early in the game, Ravio and Sheerow captured my appeal. I love Zelda too, but I was on the fence about whether to play A Link Between Worlds. I didn't even have a 3ds at the time. I knew I wanted to acquire one eventually, but I was saving up/putting off buying one until some indefinite time in the future. Then the Zelda edition 3ds XL came out, and an XL was the model I'd wanted if I got a 3ds, so, darn Nintendo, I bought it haha.
Link to the Past was the first Zelda game I ever played, and so far A Link Between Worlds is full of nods to the original game, so it's been quite the nostalgia rush. I've been especially impressed with the music. Hearing the Lorule "Dark World" theme the first time was a simply amazing experience!
Haha! I was also on the fence about getting the game too, It may sound funny, but his character design reminded me of the old CDI games that no one wants to remember ever existed, and it was a major turn off for me. xD
(if you don't know what I mean, I would google "Zelda CDI" and you'll see what I mean, they were REALLY BAD.)
But that's so awesome! :'D All of the music has done that for me too. It's an AMAZING game entry to the series. :') I hope you enjoy it as you finish it! I think you will. c:
Haha, I can see that, going by the official art! I didn't see the official art until I was used to seeing how he looked in-game, so in-game Ravio is how I tend to picture him. The official art overall for A Link Between Worlds is a little quirky to me, the in-game art/models turned out very beautiful, though! It looks especially nice when you can see the world up close when you merge with the walls, it makes me wish you could play the game from the third-person view like that, to see all those lovely details.
Thanks! Still getting by it very slowly, I'm just at the first temple in Lorule still ahaha. I haven't had too much time to play it for long stretches, so I've tended to just turn it on for a few minutes, run around in Lorule enjoying the music and finding rupees, and buying the weapons and upgrading when I can haha.
