Sketchy painting of Gremio from Suikoden.

Another painting started earlier last fall in Photoshop that I ended up hating. Saw it today and tried to see if I could make it into something I wouldn't hate as much. I got bored with it/was beginning to hate it again so I left most of it really rough.

Hope it turned out somewhat okay regardless. - -;

Gremio is my most favvorrrrite character from Suikoden I, but I can never seem to do a good fanart of him. He's just too .. perfect. xD

This color palette is really nice on the eyes. Beautiful job with his hair too, it looks like how real hair should be.

the overall color tone in this is so nice ** and his hair too, i'm really fond of the texture you've given it, and how it really, well, looks like believable hair. i really like the way you paint.. i looked all the way back through your sketchblog recently and it made me want to try painting digitally. your work is really inspiring !
